Satisfaction

As many writers out there will know, there’s no greater satisfaction than completing a book. That said, I found to my great surprise that rewriting a book can give the same sense of accomplishment. Since my publisher and I parted company, I have re-written and self-published book I of The Silver Flute Trilogy, Land of Midnight Days. I have derived not only satisfaction from doing so, but the opportunity to improve the story and polish it until it gleams.

I’m now in the process of revamping book II, Through the Gloaming and relishing every minute of it.

As I near the finish line, I am already thinking about the third and final book, Dawn Horizon and looking forward to the prospect of getting to work on it.

So if for any reason all you writers out there find yourselves faced with the prospect of issuing 2nd editions, relish it; there’s always room for improvement 😀

Great to see your series revamped, Kate. Your new covers are about a hundred times better than the old ones!
