Where will a story take you?

Reading a really great story can take you out of the doldrums and into worlds vibrant, with  fresh horizons to explore. It enables you to connect with new people, via the book’s characters, and can take you along paths and roads you never thought to explore before. Best of all, you can revisit those places and people again and again, should you choose to do so.

A good book can give the reader a whole new perspective on life. It can inspire, uplift, even enrage; all emotions that tell you you’re alive. It can generate empathy, compassion and a whole plethora of feelings that send the blood coursing through your veins.

A good book is like a wonderful symphony, using words instead of music. So live a little. Whatever your preferred genre, buy a book, borrow a book, but above all, read. 😀
